AS A player, Nobby Stiles was all heart. Most famously, he was the heart of England's 1966 World Cup team, and fondly remembered for his toothless grin and victory jig.
These days, the 60-year-old World Cup legend, who suffered a heart attack in May, devotes his time to promoting healthy hearts.
He was in York today to convey this important message and it was heartening to see him in such fine fettle.
