HUNDREDS of passengers travelling on the East Coast Main Line suffered delays today because of a broken rail.
The rail was discovered by a maintenance team on the line at Conington, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, at 9.18am. Passengers travelling from York to London were delayed for an hour.
