YORK rower Sarah Whitwell came back to haunt her home town club at the Bradford Autumn Regatta.

The teenage sensation, who now competes for Newark RC, came away from the event, held over a 600m course, with three medals after victories against the City of York team.

In the J16 coxless quads, Whit-well was joined by regular partner Laura Garrow, K Owen and O Procter and they finished two and a half lengths ahead of York.

In the double sculls, Whitwell and Garrow moved up to the Women's Senior IV and put in a mature display to finish three and a half lengths ahead of York.

Then in the J18 single sculls, Whitwell again won by three and a half lengths ahead of York.
