FLEET sales at the Nidd Vale Group - one of North Yorkshire's largest independent motor retailers - are booming.
They are running at record levels with contracts worth almost £10 million already agreed and due to be fulfilled during the year - about £3 million more than last year over the same period.
Colin Hainstock, managing director of Nidd Vale's General Motors division, said:" While the majority of the vehicles involved are from our Vauxhall dealership, we are also winning additional orders for the other two Nidd Vale marques - Mercedes-Benz and Saab.
This expansion is a further tribute to the professionalism of Veronica Jeffries - our fleet sales manager - and her team, along with the continued success of our award-winning customer care programme."
The good figures justify the decision taken to invest £2 million in premises in Leeds Road, Harrogate, which includes a Vauxhall after-sales facility at Hornby Park, Harrogate.
