SKIING sensation Adam Lee is best of British.
The 17-year-old Easingwold School student, from Clifton, York, is the British dry-ski-slope slalom champion for 2002.
Lee lifted the national title at the British Championships in Llandudno, North Wales, seeing off the challenge of more than 100 skiers.
Lee, who represents the Sunderland-based Ravens Ski Club, also lifted the Welsh Cup during two days of competition.
Earlier this year, Lee, who has a clutch of ski titles to his name, just missed out on the European crown.
Competing for the honour in Belgium, Lee, who is currently studying for his 'A'-Levels, was lying in second place after his first run but clipped a pole on his second and crashed out of the competition.
