A TEENAGER from York is looking forward to the party of his life - an S Club Party.
Joshua Dearnley, of Haxby Road, was among the thousands of fans of teen pop group S Club who entered a competition to meet their idols. He saved up eight labels from bottles of the soft drink, Sunny Delight, knowing this would guarantee him a free S Club CD.
But Joshua, 13, is one of only 50 people who have won a ticket for an all-expenses paid S Club party next month, where he will have his picture taken with the group and enjoy some of the pop star VIP treatment.
The Huntington School pupil said: "I am a big S Club fan, I always have been. I was a bit shocked when my dad told me I had won the competition, I was asking him if he was joking.
"But then the letter turned up at my nana's and I knew it was real."
Joshua, who said Tina is his favourite S Club member, said: "I can't wait for the party. I'm really excited about meeting them."
