Wooden spoonists Swans FC began this season with a 6-4 loss to Sheriff Hutton, Marshall scoring four for the winners. Watson and Pattison each hit two for Swans.
Woodthorpe beat Wigginton 3-1, while Clifton Rangers hammered Puss N Boots Reserves 8-0, the losers having lost goalkeeper S Malone at half-time.
