York City reserves' unbeaten start to their Avon Insurance League campaign came to an end with a 1-0 defeat at Mansfield Town.
The City second string, who topped division one (East) after three wins, were undone by a first-half goal from former Wolves starlet Colin Larkin. Argentinian Nicolas Mazzina and midfielder Leigh Wood both had good efforts saved for City.
Meanwhile, Darlington skipper Craig Liddle hopes to return to action by the end of the month after being stretchered off with a leg wound in City's 1-0 win over the Quakers on Tuesday.
