COULD anyone help in my quest to find a woman called Lilly Booth?
She would be 78 years old now and born, I think, on October 5, 1923. She lived at the bottom of Charlton Street or St Ann Street, Bishopthorpe, York.
She worked in Terry's factory before the Second World War and joined the WRAF in 1942 or 43. She was de-mobbed in 1945.
She married a dustman called George.
My mother was her best friend and would like to invite her to my parents' diamond wedding.
My mother's maiden name is Nellie Davies. She married Bill Sanders on October 3, 1942.
