PLANS have been unveiled for a new car park in the heart of York.
London-based car park company Euro Car Parks has applied for planning permission to build the 200-space short to medium stay car park in Palmer Lane, near Stonebow.
It would be on land formerly occupied by the Derwent Coachworks and part of the old Northern Electric Depot.
Planning officers have recommended approval.
The plan is expected to go before the council's city centre management committee on Thursday.
