SOPHIE Calpin was York City Baths Club' s top performer at the National Ages Group Championships at Sheffield.
She won took the silver medal in the girls 11 years 100m breaststroke in a personal best time and just missed out on a medal in the 200m breastroke event when she finished fourth.
A dozen swimmers from the club qualified for the gala. Nine of them made finals and a total of 29 personal best times were set.
Robert Kinnell was fifth in the 12 years 100m breaststroke final and eighth in the 200m.
Hannah Petts was fifth in the 11 years 200m breaststroke final and sixth in the individual medley 200m. Christopher Burns was eighth in the 11 years 100m breaststroke and Lewis Porylo eighth in the 15-16 years 100m breaststroke.
