YOU wouldn't want to get into a fight with one of these. This is the mighty Apache attack helicopter, one of the most powerful military aircraft in history.
The Apache is one of the star attractions at this year's Yorkshire Air Show, taking place at Elvington tomorrow and Monday.
The helicopter was loaned to the air show by the Dutch Army, and comes complete with a Gatling gun capable of tearing apart a modern tank
Although the Apache will not fly during the show, visitors will be able to get up close for a good look. Show organiser Entry costs £12 for adults, £6 for children under 12, £10 for OAPs and £32 for families on the gate. To book in advance at cheaper rates telephone 01759 305851.
The gates open at 8.30am each day and the show ends at 4.30pm.
