Hambleton trainer Kevin Ryan, enjoying a vintage season, can add to his best-ever tally of winners at Chester tomorrow.
Former jump-jockey Ryan saddles Miss Takeortwo in the opening Halliwell Jones Nursery Handicap and Fergal Lynch's mount is napped to defy top-weight.
Miss Takeortwo got off the mark at Pontefact and stepped up on that display in handicap company at Leicester two weeks ago when beating the favourite Litewska by half-a-length, with the rest of the field five lengths further back.
That form looks rock-solid and Miss Takeortwo has every chance of completing a hat-trick tomorrow for her in-form trainer, who is fast approaching his 40th winner of the campaign.
Fergal Lynch can also enjoy a winning ride from Bishops Court in the Queensferry Stakes, the richest race on the card.
The Lynda Ramsden-trained sprinter, who carries the colours of owner-breeder David Brotherton from Whitwell-on-the-Hill, scored over five furlongs here last month when beating Dragon Flyer by half-a-length.
He has an extra furlong to travel tomorrow, but provided things drop right for this hold-up performer, he should make a bold bid.
Fantasy Hill returns to the Roodee course for the first time since he won the Chester Cup in May.
The target for John Dunlop's stayer this time is the Curzon Park Rated Handicap.
A creditable recent run to finish fourth to Maycocks Bay at York augurs well for Fantasy Hill's chances of returning to the winning groove tomorrow. Richard Quinn has the mount.
At Newbury, Delegate, who seems to have found a new lease of life lately, can complete a hat-trick of wins in the Albion Chemicals Handicap.
Neville Callaghan's gelding has scored recently at Newmarket and Bath. It would come as no surprise to see him oblige again.
