ALONGSIDE Danny Elfman's collection of compositions for the second Men In Black film, there's an 'hilarious' rendition of I Will Survive. Unfortunately you cannot see that the singer is a dog when you listen to the CD, which takes the edge off the joke. The entire recording suffers from a similar problem. Men In Black 2 opens with Worms # 1, an enjoyable pastiche of film espionage music, but there's little else here you'd want to listen to on its own merit. Elfman is an experienced movie composer, with credits including Batman Returns, Sleepy Hollow and Good Will Hunting, but while the music for MIB 2 might highlight the dramatic imagery of the film, that's about as far as it goes.
