AGAIN, in one of her more extreme letters (Evening Press, July 26), Heather Causnett judges, generally and without mercy, those who do not toe her narrow, rigid line.
Whatever next? A smug call for the return of the stocks and ducking stool? Vivid imaginings and nightmarish visions of ugly crowds knitting in Parliament Street, while roaring for flogging and hanging, bring on a shudder.
