LEVENT Yalcin's sensational scoring spree at international leve; has continued despite the York City junior stepping up an age group.
Yalcin, 17, had made a big impression for Turkey Under-18s, netting five goals in seven matches - including three in succession at the Balkans Tournament.
And the highly-rated Yalcin, who only turned from a midfield playmaker to a free-scoring forward on graduating to Turkish set-up, was on target again as he made his bow at U19s level.
Yalcin, who is aiming to break into the City first XI this season, put in an impressive display as he scored in the 3-1 victory over Israel.
