MY great uncle, Paul Tune of Nicholas Street, York, recently developed cancer and was given only weeks to live. On Monday this week he collapsed, and was rushed to hospital where unfortunately he later died.
On behalf of my family I would like to thank the ambulance service, and the doctors and nurses of York District Hospital for their amazing dedication in looking after my great uncle, and also ourselves too.
Their genuine compassion was evident, as was their hard work too.
Paul Blanchard,
Norman Court,
Grape Lane, York.
