WHEN a group of York cubs were set a challenge to camp in an unusual place, they could think of nowhere better than a chocolate factory. So the youngsters from 1st Clifton Pacific Pack wrote to Nestl Rowntree asking if they could pitch camp among the KitKats and Aeros.
Sadly, that wasn't on because of health and safety issues, but Nestl invited the youngsters to come and camp on the lawns outside the Haxby Road factory instead. Akela Joy Turner said: "We were given chocolate bars and a drink and biscuits. We were taking part in a competition run by Scouting Magazine."
