YORK-based company GNER was coming under the spotlight today, as an influential Commons committee visited the city.
Members of the Transport Select Committee were on a fact-finding mission as part of their inquiry into rail in the North of England.
The group, which includes Vale of York MP Anne McIntosh, was taken on a tour of York Station, and were due to sit in on a GNER staff seminar and speak to company employees.
