THE write-up about the Queen's Honours List made reference to two of Mick Jagger's number one hits, as being the reason why he has been knighted (June 15).
The Rolling Stones had a string of number one hits in the Sixties and Seventies, some of which I remember well including: I Wanna Be Your Man; Not Fade Away; It's All Over Now; Little Red Rooster; The Last Time; Satisfaction; Get Off My Cloud; 19th Nervous Breakdown and Paint It Black. Mick Jagger deserves his knighthood.
