BUDDING Vivienne Westwoods and Stella McCartneys will have the chance to flaunt their flair for fashion at this year's Great Yorkshire Show.
The massive agricultural event, which is being held at the showground in Harrogate from July 9 to 11, will see students from Leeds University's newly-formed School of Textiles and Design showcasing their fasions at four-daily shows at the showground's new Fashion and Art Pavilion.
Tutor Liz Gaston said: "It is an exciting opportunity for the students to showcase their designs at such a prestigious event. We are all looking forward to the show and are confident it will be a great success."
The university designs will be shown alongside fashions from the Marks & Spencer autumn/winter collection.
Harrogate Ladies College student Josephine Kime, 18, will be stepping out on the catwalk in a linen and leather ruffled outfit created by BA Fashion Design graduate Helen Simpson, of Scarborough.
