Hello, folks. Evening Press here.

It's been a bit of a quiet week I'm afraid, with England being knocked out of the World Cup while I've had no racing to do.

I haven't really enjoyed Wimbledon that much, either, as my old mate, Andre Ag'ass'i, has already bitten the dust.

However, I can tell you that I am preparing well for my next race, which could be only ten days away.

My trainer, Tim Etherington, has been going through the programme looking for the right opportunity to give me a winning chance and has come up with a nine-furlong sprint up at Musselburgh on Monday, July 8.

That race is a £6,000 0-70 handicap for three-year-olds and, if the ground is hard, I might have a chance of getting on the podium.

I can also tell you that there will have another chance for fans to watch me train up at the Malton Gallops, which will be after that race and before my third outing. I don't have the full details yet, but watch this space.

Anyway, must dash. After watching England enjoy a great win over Sri Lanka yesterday, I've kinda got into cricket but, like many girls my age, I don't really understand the rules. For example, just what is a wide?

To find out, I gave my new-found friend, Nasser Horsesain, a ring and he's visiting today to tell me what's what.

Regards,

Evening Press.
