FORTUNE is smiling at last on York's unluckiest sportsman. First Warren Mapplebeck suffered three serious injuries playing three different sports, then he was asked to meet Richard and Judy.
But it was on their show that Warren's luck changed. In a battle of chance against a Lottery winner, he won a family trip to the world's gambling capital, Las Vegas.
We are delighted that the gods are looking kindly on him, and fervently hope that he does not hurt his good hand playing the one-arm bandits. Fingers crossed, Warren, the only thing you will break is the bank.
