DO any readers know the whereabouts of Mrs Edna Blakeborough? I read an article in a national newspaper and watched the BBC2 programme Homeground on June 13, about the bombing of York in 1942.
I want to write to her personally, because Major Larcombe - who helped her and her daughter, Anne, - was my father who was billeted with Mrs Webb next door. I think perhaps the address could be Nunthorpe Road or Avenue?
Mrs Pat Jones,
8 Cardigan Crescent,
Weston-Super-Mare,
North Somerset.
