POLICE say they are concerned for the safety of a woman and her four-year-old daughter, who went missing in York two days ago.
Kirsty Hodgkinson, who is 23 and from Tang Hall, was last seen at 2pm on Tuesday.
Kirsty and daughter Chloe are believed to be still in the York area. Their last contact came yesterday (WEDS) afternoon, when Kirsty sent her boyfriend a text message.
Police say the mother and daughter do not have any clothes, money or personal effects with them.
Inspector Andy Everitt said: "Kirsty has had some problems, but we would like to reassure her that our primary concern is her and her daughter's safety, nothing else.
"I would appeal to Kirsty to contact her family and friends to let them know she is OK."
