SADDLE stars at York and District Riding Club are celebrating a double triumph.
Their novice dressage and showjumping teams have won through to the National Riding Club Championships.
The York club took part in the Area 4 Qualifying competition held at Charm Park, Wykeham, near Scarborough, and they enjoyed a brilliant day.
Several of the club's dressage and showjumping teams took part and the two novice teams - both containing four riders - came out on top.
The two teams will now compete at the National Riding Club Championships which will be held for the first time at Lincoln Showground on September 15.
The club is based at Corban Lane, near Wiggington.
