It was bream as expected that dominated club contests on the Ouse around York at the weekend.

Tickets are on sale for the next CIU event, the Remembrance Cup, to be fished in Benignbrough Park on Saturday, July 6.

There were plenty of skimmers in evidence for the Acomb match at Fulford, with the 18 entry rewarded for their early start to avoid the worst of the summer boat traffic.
