A SECRET garden is being revealed to the public in an effort to raise cash for charity.
Judith Wojciechowski, who owns The Cottage, in Station Road, Riccall, claims her walled garden is invisible to anyone other than those in the house.
It is one of 16 gardens in the village to which visitors will be invited this weekend to raise money for St Leonard's Hospice.
The open day, this Sunday, will offer visitors the chance to see a variety of gardens, including one with a standing stone circle and a mountain stream.
Plants and refreshments will also be on sale.
A £2 programme will give access to all the gardens.
Karen O'Hara, of the St Leonard's Hospice Riccall support group, said: "This is the 11th year we have had this special event. In earlier years it was run by Janet Pickles, who died last year, and we were keen to continue her wonderful work in aid of the hospice."
