FOLLOWING Simon Wiles' reply to my letter (June 13), the case to which he refers was not in any way my unwillingness to pay council tax.
I have never refused or objected to this taxation. The reason I was at court, was the result of Mr Wiles' staff's unwillingness to reply to my letters. I was wrongfully levied council tax once by his department and summonsed to court; they were wrong, I was right.
The second time I was at court, they were right and I was wrong. The cost to Mr Wiles and his department for being wrong was nil; the cost to me for being wrong is considerable and still ongoing.
