Leeds United have been handed a Euro boost after being seeded in the top four for next season's UEFA Cup.
That means David O'Leary's side will miss out on facing the likes of Italian sides Lazio and Parma, Spains'sCelta Viga and crack Portuguese side Porto in the opening rounds.
The rankings are based on an individual club's record in Europe over the past five seasons along with their respective nation's success in the same period.
Chelsea, who won the Cup Winners Cup in 1998, are seeded third in next season's UEFA Cup, one ahead of Leeds.
Leeds were ranked fifth for last season's competition but bowed out in the fourth round 1-0 against PSV Eindhoven.
Worthington Cup winners Blackburn are rated 23rd for this term's competition and Scottish League runners-up Rangers are seeded 16th.
The top ten seeds are (in order): Lazio, Parma, Chelsea, LEEDS UNITED, Celta Vigo, Porto, Bordeaux, Panathinaikos, Alaves, Hertha Berlin.
