THE Grand Hotel in Scarborough will close for a second time following an outbreak of a stomach bug which is believed to have affected more than 50 people.
In May, the hotel was closed for a clean-up after more than 100 people were affected by a strain of the Norwalk virus.
Now hotel bosses claim the bug has again been brought in by customers.
A hotel statement said: "We have taken the precaution of not admitting any new customers for seven nights.
"The virus, which is contagious, can infect others simply by sharing the same environment."
