Fulfordgate's Mick Hodgson repeated last year's victory to win the latest York CIU League race on the Post Office round.
Hodgson posted a time of 57mins 20secs over the three-lap mass-start in Marygate.
Graham Jackson of Huntington set a blistering pace along Bootham and the riverside section clocking 48-27 to take second place. Another fast toe and heeler, Stuart Wilkinson of South Bank, was third in 52-08 in this ten-kilometre handicap race.
Groves Concords lacked a full team so could not build on Bob Grayson's 62-30 which earned fourth spot. Wally Johnson (Tang Hall) was fifth.
The penultimate fixture in the nine-match league is at South Bank next Tuesday.
