HELP from growers in widening the testing programme for pheromone traps to reduce wireworm attacks on crops is being sought by ADAS entomologist Dr Bill Parker. Pheromone traps require checking only once a week and rebaiting every 30 days.
If you know of land destined for potatoes in the 2003-cropping year which can be used for monitoring this season, contact Dr Parker on (01902) 693271 or email bill.parker@adas.co.uk.
