I WALK over Lendal Bridge daily. For months now, at least once or twice a week there has been dog mess in virtually the same spot (obviously done on a regular dog walk).
This is such a regular occurrence that were the dog warden to observe the area, I am sure the culprit's owner would soon be found.
Do the CCTV cameras cover this area? Is the dirty dog owner on record?
Nowhere else in York town centre do you have to watch your step as you do on Lendal Bridge due to this persistent offender who still, in these enlightened times, thinks it is acceptable to allow their pet to soil an otherwise beautiful area.
