A YORK woman who was seriously injured after colliding with a car in the city has been named by police as Emma Heath.
The 25-year-old, of Postern Close, York, suffered serious head injuries in the collision, which happened in Blossom Street on Friday evening.
She was today said to be in a stable condition at Leeds General Infirmary.
The accident happened at about 6.15pm outside the Odeon cinema and involved a black Citroen Saxo car.
The male driver of the car was arrested at the scene and taken to Fulford Road Police Station for questioning.
