STAFF from the JD Wetherspoon pubs chain were meeting today at the Postern Gate pub in Piccadilly, York, where part of the ceiling collapsed on Friday night.
The pub was still closed as structural engineers and environmental health staff from Wetherspoon met to survey the damage.
The section of the suspended ceiling collapsed in the family area of the outlet and a man and a woman were taken to York District Hospital with minor injuries at around 7pm on Friday.
It is not known yet when the pub will reopen.
