A TASTE of the moors is heading for off-licences across the country thanks to a new brew from Cropton Brewery. The local brewers have launched an Anniversary Yorkshire Moors ale to celebrate 50 years since the National Park began.
And a national campaign will mean that the unique ale promotes the special place the moors hold in people's hearts.
Andy Wilson, Chief Executive of the North York Moors National Park
said: "The Anniversary Yorkshire Moors Ale symbolises the important link between the landscape and the quality local products that are produced from it.
"We are very pleased to be working in partnership with Cropton Brewery, so that the taste of the North York Moors can be fully appreciated as never before."
The New Inn at Cropton will be holding a special anniversary party to launch the ale on Wednesday, from 7.30pm.
