GILL Clark won three titles and Dave Birch had double success in the finals of New Earswick Indoor Bowls Club's knockout competitions.
Birch easily beat Tony Taylor 22-7 in the men's singles, and he edged out Dave Kermode 21-19 in an exciting handicapped singles final.
Ray and Gill Clark capped another good season when they won the knockout mixed pairs final 19-13 against Maureen and Ron Wood.
Gill Clark also won the ladies pairs, partnered by Margaret Moss, comfortably beating Margaret Blows and Diane Hardy 26-13.
Moss, Clark and Pat Walker overwhelmed Lys Jerrum, Betty Ketley and Ann Goodwin 34-3 in the ladies triples final.
Les Foster, Joe Cooper and Bob Edwards beat Pete Ransom, Bill Dillon and Kevin Port 22-9 in the Any Triples competition final.
Former England international Jeanette Coulson had a comfortable victory 21-11 over Kath Sykes in the ladies singles final.
The formidable duo of Brian Gray and Ian Farrar had an excellent 18-12 win in the men's pairs final, which was closer than the final score suggests.
Bob Howland's team won the New Earswick Club men's singles league final, beating John Seaby's side 24-15.
Alan Ellwood's side won the men's triples league final, defeating Ian Farrar's team 25-15, and Ken Bucknall's team won the men's fours with a 22-17 victory over Brian Bunce's team.
Gill Clark the ladies pairs, Pat Storey's side won the ladies triples and Ann Goodwin's side beat Carol Sargeant's in the ladies fours.
Maureen Ellis' team won the mixed pairs, Kath Hardcastle's team won the mixed triples and Cyril Lambert's team took the mixed fours.
Eric Tyler's side won the veterans' mixed triples, Ron Wood's team won the veterans' men's triples and Barry Harrison's side won the veterans' men's fours.
Tang Hall beat Rowntree 19-11 in the club triples, Heworth Conservatives beat Osbaldwick 'B' 24-15 in the mixed fours and Clifton beat Shipton 23-20 in the men's fours final.
