YORK Rugby Union Club tackle 'Mission Impossible' at Clifton Park tonight.
The Yorkshire One side entertain Wharfedale in the second round of the Yorkshire Cup.
Wharfedale finished sixth in National Two and will be the best side York have faced all season - even though the visitors from Grassington are planning to field several of their younger players.
"I will be surprised and pleased if we get through to the third round, but the boys are up for it," said coach Andy Gair.
Work commitments deprive York of three of their more experienced men - Lee Denham, Dave Dorking and Matthew Emmerson - but the York camp are in upbeat mood after their 21-6 first round victory at Goole last week.
Tonight's kick-off has been put back 15 minutes to 6.45pm.
York start their tour to Holland and Germany at the weekend before wrapping up their league campaign at home to Yarnbury on Saturday, May 4.
Gair is to hold an FAQ course for coaches this Sunday and it is almost fully subscribed.
An earlier course, covering fitness and conditioning, attracted the maximum number of 30 coaches.
Anyone wishing to take up any of the remaining places on Sunday can contact Gair on 07712 793081 or by e-mail to andygair@lineone.net
