Julie Scattergood took centre stage at the York White Rose Ladies League finals by winning the individual competition title. Her opponent was Sun Inn colleague Heather Beadnell who found Scattergood's steady scoring too much to handle, especially the trophy-clinching game which included 135, 125 for 18 darts.
Even so, Beadnell bounced back to win the pairs event 2-1 with Sheelagh Lord against Scattergood, partnering Sue Scrimshaw, who went one apiece after Beadnell-Lord had taken the first in 21 darts.

John Spence-Jeff Twort took Lord Nelson's only point as Mike Harris inspired Acomb SC to a fine 6-1 win.
Sandra Bruce, the captain of Ox, included 180 to make it 3-3 with Cygnet in York John Smiths Ladies League division one.
But three tons by her Cygnet counterpart, Dawn Exton, inspired a 6-3 victory.

Jubilee went 4-2 up after big scoring from Maxine Midgley and Jeanette Whittaker but Leeman 'B' fought valiantly and Jean Smallwood partnered Clare White to level at 4-4 Toni Smallwood and Eileen White to seal victory.
