ANDY Jenkins flew out to Greece with some trepidation today. The air enthusiast did not enjoy a warm welcome on his last visit: being arrested and thrown in jail for six weeks hardly passes for traditional Greek hospitality.
Mr Jenkins and the other 11 in his party were victims of a lack of communication. They should have been quickly released with an apology.
Instead, this week they are being tried for accessing state secrets, a charge with a maximum sentence of five years in jail.
We hope their nightmare ends with a full exoneration this week. Mr Jenkins may then consider a new hobby. Trainspotting, perhaps. If there are any trains to spot, that is...
