A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was robbed of his mountain bike at knifepoint in a York street.
The boy had been pushing his bike along Bellhouse Way, in Foxwood, near to its junction with The Gallops, when he was confronted by a youth who produced a knife with a four-inch blade and demanded he hand over the cycle.
The youth was described as being aged about 16, 5ft 8in tall and slim. He was wearing a cream/white top with its hood pulled up and dark trousers. The top had the letters LCS on the right sleeve.
The cycle was a red Pizzazz-brand mountain bike. The robbery happened at about 10pm last night.
Meanwhile, a man was punched in the face and robbed of £4 as he walked in Cemetery Road, York, at about 6am today.
He told police he had been grabbed by a man who demanded cash.
He at first refused but when the man punched him, he handed over the cash.
The robber was described as white, 5ft 8in tall, aged in his mid-twenties, with dark, unkempt shoulder-length hair.
He was wearing a knee-length dark coat, dark trousers and white trainers.

- Burglars raided a house in Horner Street, Clifton, and stole a Sony PlayStation games console, a handbag and cash.
