STAMFORD Bridge teenager Katie Hills is New York-bound.
The 16-year-old York College student will represent Great Britain in women's roller hockey at the first ever Federation of In-line Roller Sports world championships in Rochester, New York, in July.
A former Woldgate School pupil, Katie currently plays for the Snaithstormers and the Wakefield Warriors.
She enthused: "I'm really excited about the world championships. I know it is going to be hard work but the national coach thinks we are in with a chance of a medal - I just hope it's a gold one."
Katie is hoping to net get sponsorship for the big trip.
