PAPER people were created by young sculptors at Lowfield School, in Acomb, as part of an artist-in-residence day.
Sculptor Philip Cox visited the school to spend the day working with GCSE art students from Years Ten and 11.
Philip is the creator of "paper people" and has undertaken commissions throughout the country. He has recently returned from exhibiting in Miami.
He asked the pupils to bring in a drawing of a person they would like to represent in paper.
The day was organised by art teacher Carolyn James and teaching assistant Mary Pope.
