WOULD-BE motorsport enthusiasts are urged to rev on down to Malton on Saturday.
That's when the Malton Motor Club's Open Day takes place from 10am to 2pm.
The event will be held at S M Autocare in the Eastgate Car Park, and is aimed at getting people young and old into motorsport.
As well as being shown a warm welcome, there will be rally cars on show, information stands, photographs, videos and demonstrations - plus as plenty of expert motorsport knowledge to hand.
The club aims to introduce those interested to the safety aspects of the sport, and present MMC members will be there to tell people how to get involved locally as well as being on hand to answer any questions on their particular sporting passion.
There will even be advice on how best to get a motorsport project off and running.
Expert knowledge, backed by information sheets will also cover the various aspects of autotesting, 12-cars and road rallying, stage rallying and marshalling, and of course, on the MMC's own event - The Dalby Gravel Sprint.
From basic club events through to the World Rally Championship, every facet of the sport will be covered at the open day which is free to all those who attend.
