IN respectful answer to T Jackson of Nunnery Lane, who asks 'Why are there no daffodils from Micklegate Bar to Victoria Bar?' (Letters, April 9). They are still blooming there, TJ!
The little golden headed bobbers have come up again on the other side of the ramparts - opposite Dewbury Terrace. Probably because the residents of that street planted them in memory of their lost loved ones. Likewise in Newton Terrace, where their contribution includes red tulips.
Take a walk on the walls TJ from Micklegate Bar to Baile Hill - it's well worth it, this time of year.
Dale Minks,
Ancress Walk, York.
