Former York City Baths Club star Robin Francis shone at the double in the British Swimming Championships at Manchester.
Francis won both the 400metres and 200m individual medley crowns.
Francis, the British record holder, led on the first leg, faded to second place in the breaststroke leg and regained the lead in the butterfly leg to win in a time of 4min 21.27sec.
Sarah Lambert (Selby) missed out on a place in the final of the 50m backstroke, finishing in 13th place in 31.19sec.
