PLANS for a £23 million military museum in North Yorkshire were being unveiled today by former Conservative leader William Hague.

An exhibition at Tesco in Catterick was giving details of the proposed National Army Museum North, which would provide an "interactive learning environment for the study of local and national military history from the Victorian era to the present day". The development is proposed for a site south of Marne Barracks.
