WE should like to remind readers that the St Leonard's Way Challenge Walk takes place again this year on Saturday, May 4.
The 20-mile route covers spectacular Bront Country on the Haworth Moors and sections of the Pennine Way.
Last year, regretfully, the Walk had to be cancelled because of the foot and mouth outbreak.
You need to be reasonably experienced at distance walking and you can walk or run the route.
The Challenge Walk has raised more than £87,000 for St Leonard's Hospice since it began in 1990, helping in the care of patients and families in York.
For an entry form, sponsorship form and more details, please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to me at the address below.
The closing date for completed entry forms is April 26 and numbers are limited to 200.
