YORK City manager Terry Dolan will be forced into at least one change to his starting line-up for tomorrow's clash with Mansfield.
Lee Bullock had an operation on his troublesome ankle yesterday leaving Dolan with a midfield hole to fill.
Stephen Brackstone and Christian Fox are the main contenders to plug the gap. Richard Cooper, who came through 30 minutes of reserve team duty in midweek, was deemed not fit enough to be involved.
Centre-back Chris Smith came through Wednesday's game unscathed and pushing skipper Chris Brass, who has been operating as a sweeper in recent weeks, back into midfield remains an option.
Also added is Turkish Under-18 international Levint Yalcin, while goalkeeper Russ Howarth is back after England Under-20 duty in Portugal.
City were today awaiting the outcome of an X-ray on full-back Neville Stamp's ankle.
The defender was forced off midway through the first half of the reserves' game on Wednesday in his comeback game following a hamstring injury.
Mansfield are sweating on the fitness of leading scorer Chris Greenacre ahead of tomorrow's must-win battle for the Stags.
The former Manchester City striker picked up a knee injury in Mansfield's crucial 2-1 win over Cheltenham in midweek. Greenacre grabbed his 28th goal of the season in the victory, which saw Mansfield climb back into the sole remaining automatic promotion place.
With victory vital for Town tomorrow, Greenacre - rumoured to be a summer target for Bradford City - is almost certain to play.
